We have just wrapped up one of the most INCREDIBLE weeks of VBS! This year’s VBS theme was Seek Truth, Find Jesus. We had over 150 kids in attendance this week and I think it is safe to say they ALL had a BLAST! We opened each night with FUN interactive worship that was led by our amazing team, Pete & Adrienne. Then kids rotated through stations: Homeroom, Bible Stories, Snack & Games and ended each night with worship. The kids heard a new bible story each night. They learned how Jesus wants to
be their friend (Zaccheaus). God loves them so much he sent Jesus to save them (Nicodemus). Jesus is with them even when they are afraid (Jairus). That Jesus can forgive their sins (paralytic man). And most importantly the heard the Gospel story and learned that Jesus died for their sins and rose again! Another cool part of VBS this year was our mission “Play it Forward”. Every year at VBS, students are offered the opportunity to raise money for a specific mission. This year all the money raised at VBS was used to purchase new Gym/Rec equipment for our new facility. Donations were collected every night after opening worship. Tune in on Sunday to find out our total amount raised. With the money raised we were able to purchase the following equipment: Gaga Ball Pit, 2 Ping Pong Tables, 2 Basketball Hoops and some other equipment. Our 7/8 th Grade Service Project Crew worked hard all week to put the
new equipment together so it could be unveiled and used on the last night at our Parking Lot Celebration. What an amazing week we had with all the kiddos, worshiping our Lord and Savior and learning more about him. Thank you church for blowing us away and stepping up and answering the call to serve. We had over 80 adults serving every night! Thank you for showing the love of JESUS to ALL who entered our
doors this week! The Holy Spirit was present! Join us as we continue to pray for the Holy Spirit to work in these kiddos hearts and to grow their faith in Jesus.
